EXPERIENCES
1995 -1999, Fun’s career started in O&M Malaysia as a designer and move to became art director later. 1999 -2002, Fun took up the challenge as the Head of Design in McCann Malaysia, managing a team of 4 designers, given guidance, practiced good time management on multiple accounts in a fast paced environment, work well internally with different accounts teams, traffic and externally with clients. 2003 -2005, attracted by the lure of excited opportunities in China, Fun moved to LOWE Shanghai as a CD and have fallen in love with this city since. 2005 -2008, back to the O&M Action Shanghai as CD, managing a team of art directors & FA artists. In charge on both ATL & BTL, this enriches me with practical knowledge on all production processes and able to leverage them for the best outcome. This made me a one stop solution for the team. Participated and won gold & Best In China 2008 PMAA and Cannes 2008 finalist on Organ Recycling Bin campaign. 2009 -2014, offered as CD at McCann Shanghai on Loreal account. Working with A class celebrities, film directors and Paris counterpart was truly an amazing journey. Integrated with leadership, trends and research insights into brand strategies and contents for China & Asia Pacific markets. 2014 - 2019, promoted to GCD in Saatchi Shanghai after 1 year of service on Olay & Safeguard. Leading a team of 9 creatives, work closely with whole team, different division of Saatchi, New York regional office and planner for integrated campaign strategies across all media formats. Enjoying shooting and post with talented teams in LA, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangkok, Japan, Korea and so on. 2019 August - now, ECD in Indigo Media Agency. Clients include Martell, Pechoin, Chando, CPB, Estee Lauder, Lamer etc.
